Yeah gouache seems to be quite underused but I think it's because it's a pain to use! ~ I keep hearing that destiny is terrible but oh well...you can't please everbody! Thank you!

NO IT WAS NOT EASY TO USE! But i've sort of got the hang of mixing it now so hopefully I shall get more work done with the medium. I think I'll try a new sort of more animation-y style with them because it's perfect for cel-shading You shouldn't have given up! ;_;

I think the trick to using gouache for something like this is to leave the inking for after the painting because the opaqueness of it would just cover it up (or go horribly blotchy which is what happened with me ;_

Hands are always difficult! That's why I immediately picked up how great they look!

Hmmm, I think it's not that he wasn't being nice to her, it was that there were bigger... erm, lemme rephrase that... global issues that he was upset about. His anger wasn't aimed at her, personally. He was frustrated with the situation in Orb, and he had trusted her to be strong enough to sort of... "hold the fort", if you know what I mean. What he didn't know was that the Orb councilmen were using her greatest weakness against her - him.

And because she loves him so much, Cagalli would never ever tell Athrun that they did, because she knows that it would hurt him beyond hurt to know that he was the real reason she fled Orb - because she loves him from the bottom of her heart and just could not marry someone else, even for political reasons. If she were ever to tell Athrun that, he would hate himself for ever letting her get close to him. So she silently let Athrun vent his anger over Orb at her, because she loves him too much to hurt him with the truth.

And there isn't even a doubt in my mind that Athrun and Cagalli will find their way back to one another, because Athrun has never stopped loving her. Sure, many girls come after him, but he hardly notices, because his heart belongs to one girl only.

The Gundam Seed style is just so... Super exaggerated. It really bothers me too. Especially the noses. I really don't like the noses. And eyes...

Wooow! Thanks for putting it that way ~ it put a smile on my face ~ I remember the ending to the extra episode (with a bit more of the ending) with my siblings and we all went "NOOOO!" when we saw Athrun walk off with you-know-who . Athrun and Cagalli are supposed to be with each other!

I can't wait until the movie comes out, I haven't read about it or anything so it might not be a conclusion but I wish I could see the story continue a bit more ;_;

Hmm, I've got some advice that might make you feel even better: If you can, go watch the extra ending again, but look at it closely. Kira walks off with Lacus. Look at their body language - they're arm in arm, Lacus resting her head on Kira's shoulder. Athrun, on the other hand, walks off alone. Meyrin is only trailing after him.

I would also love to see a bit more of Gundam SEED, and more Athrun!!!
